Toyota RAV4 - Autocar Review

Toyota Rav4 Review

Here is the most recent review we could find from the Autocar UK magazine website on the Toyota RAV4. The Review focuses on one particular model in the range, the 2.2 diesel D4-D engine in the entry level XT3 specification, although it does cover the rest of the range too. We don't want to just copy and paste the full road test here so rather than that we have a few snippets for you to see, and if you like it you can follow the link at the bottom of the page to the autocar website where you can read the full thing.

Autocar Magazine Said:

"For something so tall and weighing 1639kg, it is remarkably entertaining to drive. Turn into a bend and there’s little roll, composed damping and accurate steering..."

"Why Toyota persevered with the frustrating side-hinged rear door is a mystery. It’s heavy, useless in tight spaces and doesn't open to a full 90 degrees..."

"The RAV4 is solidly engineered, refined and practical. Only the high price, relatively poor outright performance and an awkward rear door count against it..."
